Herry studied City and Regional Planning at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles with a specialisation in Economic Development and Real Estate. As part of the ‘Metropolitan Development and Land-Based Financing’ stream, Herry is responsible for city-level analysis of Bangalore's Housing market and micro-market analysis for various neighbourhoods of interest. He is also part of the PEAK stream, ‘Mapping Bangalore’s Industrial Transformation’, where he works on studying the various economic activities in Bangalore and their transformation over space and time by compiling and analysing multiple public datasets.
Herry’s research interests lie in the area of Urban Data in Planning, Housing Real Estate and Local Economic Development.
This research aims to contextualise land based financing instruments in relation to the institutional, market and governance conditions prevailing in the Indian urban context.
