Tom Fisher

Thomas Fisher is a research associate based in the Nuffield Department of Women's & Reproductive Health, University of Oxford.

Tom studied mathematics at Cambridge before a masters in machine learning at University College London. He is interested in using machine learning for international development and global health problems. He wrote his MSc thesis on time series forecasting for malaria prevalence in western sub-Saharan Africa using hybrid models. Outside of work Tom can be found playing sport or at the gym. He is also passionate about music.
