Yunshu Liu is a Master candidate at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Peking University.

Yunshu Liu received the B.S. degree in geographic information science from the School of Geography, Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China. He is currently pursuing the master’s degree from Peking University, Beijing, China. His research interests include Geographic Information Science and Urban Planning. As the key data administrator in The Centre for Urban Planning and Transport Studies, he manages kinds of open data from different sources, mainly including spatial data and statistical data. By using big data methods and models, he did some work on urban vitality. Based on urban vitality heat map, time-spatial distribution of human activities can be seen more directly. At the same time, he also did some data supporting work on TOD theory and Metropolitan area research.
